Everyone around the Los Angeles Clippers swears the vibe around the team is the best it has been since Chris Paul arrived via trade in December of 2011.
Evan Fournier led the Magic with 28 points and handed out four assists.
A blowout win against the NBA's defending champs in their building certainly helps wash the stink off a three-game losing streak. The Cavaliers have not faced much, if any, adversity this season yet.
With today's technology, it's a little easier to watch games on your TV, computer or tablet, but the kicker is to find an actual LEGIT stream.
The Cavaliers got off to a good start in this one, leading for all of the first quarter.
The Cavaliers opened the second half with three consecutive turnovers, followed by missed shots on their next five possessions. A deadly combination in every way.
Identifying the problem and fixing it are two different issues. "You're hoping they're not back-to-back, but it happens". For the game the Clippers outrebounded the Pelicans 46-41. "In an 82-game season, you're going to have a few poor games". This was a bad loss, absolutely. Three games in a row?
The Clippers went into the clash with the Nets as heavy favourites, but blew an 18-point lead and got ripped into. The Cavaliers had twelve assists.
Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 23 points to go along with eight rebounds and eight assists, while Jabari Parker added 22 points. Griffin was kept out of the game against the Brooklyn Nets in anticipation of their upcoming matchup versus the Cleveland Cavaliers.
When evaluating the Clippers' title prospects, defense can't be ignored. The Los Angeles Clippers took advantage, turning the deficit into a six-point lead and never looked back, using it as a catalyst in a resounding 114-96 win on Friday night.
"They get your respect", the Los Angeles coach said of the Cavaliers.
That was evident as the Clippers shot 51 percent from the field and had 27 assists and only nine turnovers.
A jumper from Tristan Thompson pulled the Cavs within 47-45 with two minutes left in the first half, but the Clippers outscored Cleveland by 14 over the final two minutes of the first half and the first two minutes of the third quarter. It's just time we start consistently saying that. But the refs were quick on the whistle for JR and he was only able to play 23 minutes as he was constantly sitting due to foul trouble.
They are just not a good basketball team. The duo combined for 29 points on just 9 of 25 shooting.
The Clippers led 58-50 after a slow-paced first half that featured a ton of whistles and even more complaining - from both teams. Those numbers really just tell the story of this game. What sets this team apart from previous years is how well their role players have played. That sounds pretty great and all, but most of it was off extremely forced offense.
Like they did with Griffin, the Clippers' player performance staff met with Redick and presented the science behind the decision, though Redick disputed the "pamphlet" given to Griffin.
Also, as of Friday morning, Smith was not listed on the injury report for the game against Chicago. If they beat us by making tough shots or whatever, then we can live with that.
