Joe Biden to run for USA presidency in 2020

Yes, but these folks fell in love with 75-year-old Bernie Sanders (I-VT) during the Democratic primaries this year.

When asked which position he would run for, Biden responded, "For president".

Biden: Yeah, I am.

"Yeah, I am. I am going to run in 2020", Biden said on December 5, according to CNBC.

Biden: And also-what the hell, man? If you drop that.

Asked if he was joking, he said he wasn't committing to not running. He said, 'Yeah, I am going to run, in 2020.' For what, the question. I said, you know, these are the final days of your time in office, did that add to the emotion? Still, under his vice presidential tenure, the Democratic Party has been decimated electorally.

Biden never entered the 2016 race, but many had hoped he would - and he himself said in January he "regretted" not entering. He almost ran again in 2016, but following the death of his son Beau past year, opted against a presidential bid.

House leaders announced before Thanksgiving that Trump and his team had asked Congress to prepare a spending bill that would keep the government open at current spending levels through the end of March.

The vice president chose to not seek the White House in 2015 and instead backed this year's eventual Democratic presidential nominee, Hillary Clinton.

Scarborough: -over the next six months. They've done the right thing for the voters-haven't spoken to them. Maybe. Or he could very well run in 2020, becoming the candidate Democrats needs to reconnect with the white working class.

"I think this still really matters, those things I've always cared about: violence against women to whether we have a rational arms control policy". And the reason is we've been consumed with crisis after crisis after crisis.

To which Joe replied, "Yeah I am".
