A stalker assaulted a woman and bit her tongue in the Koramangala area of the city.
On Friday, a 23-year-old woman was allegedly molested and attacked by a man while she was on her way to the office.
Two separate incidents of molestation in the heart of Bengaluru on the New Year eve have generated nationwide outrage.
A Bengaluru resident allegedly pinned a woman who was wearing a burqa to the ground and molested her near her home on Friday morning.
The unidentified man attacked the woman from behind and forced her not to shout. She got injured on her legs, arms and her tongue. Her attempts to fight back were in vain as the men grabbed and molested her. Security footage in the area showed a group of bystanders who witnessed the assault but made no effort to put a stop to it. The men groped her and molested her. She was admitted to hospital and the police are on a hunt for the suspect.
It is believed the attacker then ran away when barking dogs in a nearby street startled him. Meanwhile, a case has been registered against the accused and an investigation is on. The fact that they are coming to us is an encouraging sign, say the police. After this incident, their family members approached to the shop seeking for the CCTV footage to file the complaint against the accused person in KG Halli Police Station. All this was recorded in a CCTV camera installed in on the of residential apartment.
