Microsoft Acquires Simplygon To Accelerate '3D For Everyone' Vision

It made EPUB supports a feature of Microsoft Edge as part of its Windows 10 Creators Update Insider test builds. In other words, a game once bought could be played on the Xbox One or Windows 10 PC without requiring extra fees.

Microsoft has warned customers that Windows 7 is no longer "fit" for business use. In the post, Microsoft said systems with outdated operating systems are at risk for problems like cybersecurity hacks.
Users of Windows 10 could now get concise information about their browsing history, search history, location activity, and Cortana's Notebook by signing in with their Microsoft account and visiting a website. Three years ago, the company used some of the same tactics when it disparaged Windows XP, whose retirement was then quickly approaching, and trumpeted Windows 7 as its replacement. Windows 7 also does not recognise many modern peripherals like printers as hardware manufacturers are producing devices compatible with the latest operating systems.
Windows 7's extended support ends on January 14, 2020. The Windows 10 Creators Update, due in April, will include a new Paint 3D application replacing the traditional Paint that will enable content creators to build, manage, and access 3D projects without the need for third-party software. Changes to the Windows Analytics dashboard will also allow users to "use their own telemetry to provide new insights and ensure compliance on the upgrade, update and device health processes within their organizations".
Microsoft is also letting Insiders try out new features for Windows Information Protection that are created to give enterprise users more control over how encrypted work files are copied and managed on other devices and applications.
