Drake, the Chainsmokers lead with 22 Billboard Award nods

The 2017 Billboard Music Awards nominations are giving The Boss and his band some love.

Albums from Beyonce, Drake, Rihanna, twenty one pilots and the Weeknd are up for top Billboard 200 album.

She won a Billboard award in 2015 for her second album, "Shatter Me".

Hot on their tails are Drake, with 13 nods and rockers Twenty One Pilots, who are up for 11 awards.

The Billboard Music Awards nominees are based on measurements made by Billboard and its data partners, which include Nielsen Music and Next Big Sound.

Also up for that prize are Coldplay, The Lumineers, Twenty One Pilots and X Ambassadors.

Furthermore, as per 9News, Top Male Artist nominees include Justin Bieber, Drake, Future, Shawn Mendes and The Weeknd, who also turned out to earn quite a few nominations, including Top Billboard 200 Album, Billboard Chart Achievement, and Top R&B Artist. The duo proved their staying power by nagging six nominations for the upcoming celebration, including a nod on the all-genre Top Duo/Group category.

Musician Pete Wentz of "Fall Out Boy" and singer-songwriter Julia Michaels announced the 2017 Billboard Music Award nominees for five categories live on "Good Morning America" today.
