Other drivers honked to get the trucker's attention, although the trucker didn't notice until another auto got in front to stop the truck. "They're dragging that auto". "There did not appear to be any mechanical issues with tractor-trailer combination, which were a factor in the collision", according to the CHP, whose officers allowed the truck driver to drive away from the scene.

A driver spotted another motorist in a precarious situation along a California highway: his destroyed auto was being dragged by a semi truck.

The CHP said the 62-year-old truck driver told troopers he had no idea that he had struck a auto while changing lanes. "Look at that. That's on the freeway going up to Cajon Pass".

Horns honk in the background as the truck finally comes to a stop in lanes.

"I didn't know it", the driver responds.

"Steimke added: "'What do you mean you didn't know it dude? "He's on your truck", Steimke exclaims.

The truck, which was labeled Mike Lowrie Transport of Dixon, outside Sacramento, was hauling two containers labeled Grimway Farms.
