Tamil and Telugu versions are certainly bound to score high since the advance booking reports showing majority of housefull boards is a clear sign. Sujeeth is the director and the regular shoot of Saaho is expected to start from May.
It's time for some waves, and a tsunami of records at the box office. Although the demand at the advance booking counters for Baahubali 2 is bigger than for any other Indian film in the last ten years, the exhibitors, barring one, remained closed until Tuesday morning. Yes, you heard it right.
None connected with the production and distribution of the film, whose part one - "Bahubali-The Beginning" grossed over Rs. 600 crore when it was released in 2015, were available to give out details of sale. The latest flick is all set for the grand release on 28th April across 9000 screens throughout the world. Telugu films have a huge fan following in US and the makers and distributors are well aware of this fact.
The Great India Films will bring the movie to theaters in North America. Thus, the total overseas screen count of Bahubali 2 is 2500 screens.
In "Baahubali" franchise, Rana plays a fictional character Bhallaladeva, who locks horns over an ancient kingdom with his brother Amarendra Baahubali, played by Prabhas.
Prabhas's shyness and simplicity has been witnessed often in his interactions off the screen. For example, in his 2012 film Eega, the on-screen protagonist is simply a fly. We all know that the movie is going to be epic, and we have ample proof of that from the trailers and posters. Whatever be the case, Bahubali 2 will write new box office history.
Does he feel there is sudden urge to make bigger films, especially after the announcement of Mohanlal-starrer multilingual film "The Mahabharata", to be made on a budget of Rs 1000 crore?
