1 death as tornado hits Oklahoma subdivision

Another storm leveled the Prairie Lake Estate Mobile Park near Chetek, Wisconsin, about 110 miles northeast of Minneapolis.
"If it had been later in the night, it could have been much more tragic just because of where people were at in and around the region", Walker said.
On the other hand, the Storm Prediction Center in Norman, says there is a greater risk of tornadoes arising in the western part of the state which will also get to the Panhandle of the mighty Texas.
In Barron County, Wisconsin, a reported tornado that touched down killed at least 1 person and injured 25.
There were reports of possible tornadoes in Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas, the National Weather Service's Storm Prediction Center said.
She said there was no warning when the tornado hit.
"A few trailers on the perimeter are still standing, but everything in the middle is completely gone", said Chetek police Officer Cody Stauner, one of dozens of law enforcement and emergency officials who responded to the disaster site.
Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin tweeted her thoughts and prayers to those affected.
He said he'll add one new feature to his redone home: a storm shelter, or safe room.
In eastern Nebraska, winds damaged homes, farms and businesses and left thousands of people without electricity.
Barron County Sheriff Christopher Fitzgerald earlier in the morning praised the efforts of first responders. Several of them are destroyed.
Fitzgerald said local and state officials are calling it a tornado, but that hasn't been confirmed by the National Weather Service. The mobile home park has been declared a total loss.
The Red Cross and Salvation Army are assisting those who lost their homes.
The National Weather Service said spotters reported a tornado 4 miles northwest of Chetek at 5:35 p.m., and another 5 miles west-southwest of Weyerhaeuser at 6:15 p.m.
Danny Ringer, the Elk City Fire Department chaplain, said that tornado killed 53-year-old Bo Mikles.
NWS meteorologist Rick Smith said the most damaging tornado was on the ground for five to 10 miles in the area of Elk City, Oklahoma.
"This was a supercell that developed, a discreet storm", he said Tuesday night.
A tornado that touched down near Chetek, Wisconsin took the life of a longtime Jennie-O Turkey Store employee and damaged six turkey barns.
