Cannes 2017: Bella Hadid fought her wardrobe malfunctions like a boss

Twenty-year-old Hadid hit the red carpet and posed for photographs at the 70th Cannes International Film Festival's Opening Gala, which also featured a screening of Ismael's Ghosts (Les Fantomes d'Ismael), starring Marion Cotillard.
Each year the Cannes Film Festival sees the French Riviera turn into one big red carpet teeming with scantily clad stars using sartorial statements to promote their latest films.
Interestingly enough, this was not her first oops moment at the Cannes red carpet. The 20-year-old supermodel wore a daring pink gown that offered a glimpse at her nude underwear when the slit in her dress flew open.
The Cannes Film Festival is a world-class event premiering movies from around the globe; but at times it seems the red carpet fashion has overshadowed the films themselves.
Bella Hadid showed off more than she likely intended while attending the Cannes Film Festival this week.
And Elle Fanning was looking just as stylish when she stepped out bright and early on Thursday morning, rocking a cute and quirky blue dress with red lip detailing.
The Cannes Film Festival began on May 17 and will wind up on May 28.
She said: "In every profile written about me, there is, 'She's so sexual and she's such a sex symbol, ' paired with, 'But, wow, she knows about politics.' And that in itself is sexist".
Will Smith, a member of the jury that also includes Jessica Chastain, Paolo Sorrentino and Park Chan-wook, stuck up for Netflix. "My weight fluctuates and so does everybody's and I think that if people are gonna judge, that's the worst you can possibly do because everybody is different", she told People.
The brand shared the red carpet photos of the "Piku" star on their official Twitter handle. She wore an ornate emerald, ruby and diamond necklace, which she later wore at the film festival.
