In the video taken Thursday, Christian uses expletives as he rants about Muslims, Christians and Jews.

"Jeremy Christian has nothing to do with us".

KK told KOIN he was upset, complaining about the city and "venting to his friend on the phone about some girl that just pepper-sprayed him".

"[Christian] said, 'Get off the bus, and get out of the country because you don't pay taxes here, ' [he said he] doesn't like Muslims, they're criminals", Evelin Hernandez, a witness riding in the train auto, told KATU. Everybody around me got up.

The teens moved toward the back of the train, preparing to get off at the next stop.

Deliverance says she is grieving but proud of her son's selfless action.
