The Cinemax add-on offers instant access to hundreds of theatrical movies such as "The Purge: Election Year", "Warcraft" and "Deepwater Horizon" and series including "The Knick", "Outcast", "Banshee" and "Quarry" - all within Hulu's streaming environment.
Today, the company announced that it's adding the option for Hulu subscribers to also get HBO programming for an extra $14.99 per month. Android users will be able to enjoy the fruits of this new deal on their phones or tablets with the Hulu app or through the dedicated Android TV app. It also includes on-demand access to bigger movie releases now playing on HBO; the press release mentioned films like X-Men: Apocalypse, The Boss and Suicide Squad.
Hulu has seriously upped their streaming game in 2017. But on the off-chance that you need that little nudge to push you over the top, Hulu is adding HBO to its channel selection.
"We see them as the flawless partner to help us fulfil our promise to HBO fans, bringing our unparalleled programming to audiences in the most sophisticated, convenient and innovative ways".
The content will be offered live and on-demand, with both HBO and Cinemax's East and West Coast feeds available, and join Hulu's various subscription VOD and live TV offers.
On a side note, it's worth mentioning that viewers can get HBO Now and HBOs standalone streaming series for the same price as mentioned above.
