Rihanna wears show-stopping Giambattista Valli gown to Valerian premiere

The sci-fi adventure stars Dane DeHaan and Cara Delevingne as time and space-hopping federal agents trying to save Alpha, the city of a thousand planets, from an ominous threat, and in one scene, Dane's character Valerian needs a disguise, so he enlists the help of Rihanna's shapeshifting alien Bubble.

The "Umbrella" singer made waves when she graced the 2008 BET Awards in a lemon yellow dress and then the 2015 Grammy Awards in a pink princess gown from the same Italian designer.

But despite her global success, Cara Delevingne has claimed she is "not a model" and that she does not "give a s**t about what I look like" in the midst of her re-brand as an actress to distance herself from the fashion world.

VALERIAN and the City of a Thousand Planets is the new film from Luc Besson, the director of The Professional, The Fifth Element and Lucy, based on the ground-breaking comic book series which inspired a generation of artists, writers and filmmakers.

"Now I am starting to understand women's empowerment a lot more and how I want to lift other women up". I didn't like what it was turning me into. I thought about her from the beginning. The occasion for the actors of the feature film take out their most handsome outfits and for the stars invited to put on their thirty-one. Cara Delevingne, the other star of the blockbuster, had taken the opposite of the singer in choosing a tailor black trousers (worn with nothing underneath, of course) topped with a wide collar in jewelry.

Having grown up acting in plays at school, Cara put her theatrical dreams on hoold to follow her older sister Poppy into modelling. I will definitely still do it.

This week she told Radio Times magazine that she "didn't like myself as a model". When she got emotional she let me get in. I don't use that.
