Tom Cruise injured on the set of 'Mission Impossible 6'

While he's known for pulling off some epic stunts in films like The Mummy and the Mission: Impossible films, a new report has emerged that states actor Tom Cruise suffered an injury on the set of Mission: Impossible 6.

In video obtained by TMZ, Cruise is attached to a harness while making the leap.

After Cruise stands, hobbling a few more steps, he eventually is pulled back to the first building via his safety wires, where he walks away, escorted by the crew.

According to The Telegraph in London, Cruise has been filming the latest installation of the action series in an unknown part of London, with some on social media saying the film has been set on the Thames' northern banks. His plane sequence from Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation, which featured Cruise's Ethan Hunt dangling off an Airbus 400 aircraft as it made its way down the tarmac and lifted into the sky, was a key element in the pic's promotional run.

It's scheduled for release in July next year.

The unsafe stunt was performed today, and soon after, the star began limping, worrying his staff and crew.

"What Tom is doing in this movie I believe will top anything that's come before", said Ellison. "It's gonna be mind-blowing".

It's hard to assess how impactful this accident will be to the production since we don't know the extent of his injuries.

"Plus, you want to live through it". "He said that's why he does it; it's all about entertaining an audience and it makes the movie better".
