Union Ministers Uma Bharti and Rajiv Pratap Rudy Resigned

Union Skill Development Minister Rajiv Pratap Rudy resigned on Thursday ahead of a speculated Cabinet reshuffle, PTI reported.
BJP chief Amit Shah-who held a meeting with some senior ministers at his residence on Thursday morning-met Modi later in the day.
A rejig of the government has been due for months now, especially after vacancies and transformed alliances. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be leaving to China to attend BRICS summit this Sunday and the last reshuffle before next elections is expected to happen this Saturday.
The new Cabinet is also likely to see the JD (U)'s Ram Chandra Prasad SIngh and Santosh Kushwaha being included.
The people said Kalraj Mishra, who had met Shah on Thursday, may also resign.
Even during the last reshuffle in July previous year, sources said, ministers were asked to submit their resignations to the party leadership first.
Sources in the BJP said that a reshuffle may take place either on Saturday or sometime after the Prime Minister's return from China and Myanmar.
"Decision of the party is the best decision", he said. Maurya is a part of UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath's Cabinet and one of the state's two deputy chief ministers.
Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu had offered to resign owning moral responsibility for the recent train accidents, but Prime Minister Narendra Modi has put it on hold.
Finance minister Arun Jaitley and science and technology minister Harsh Vardhan are holding the additional charge of defence and environment portfolio.
Finance and corporate affairs minister Arun Jaitley was given the additional charge of defence, while Smriti Irani got the additional portfolio of information and broadcasting. "I have said that I have not heard the question, will not hear nor will I answer it", she tweeted.
Besides Jaitley, three other union ministers are also holding additional charges of different ministries.
Currently, there are three vacancies in the Council of Ministers arising out of the exit of Manohar Parrikar and M Venkaiah Naidu from the Government and the passing away of Environment Minister Anil Madhav Dave. Karnataka will go for assembly polls next year.
