Nissan Continues its Relationship with Star Wars

And it looks like it may have worked. So far, fans have gotten one official teaser trailer and a quick behind-the-scenes video, but it seems as if that could change in a matter of weeks. Hamill deleted the tweet shortly after posting it.

"Watch Monday Night Football on Monday October 9th- for no reason in particular", Hamill wrote to a fan Tuesday who stated to the actor that it was a good time to release another trailer, Polygon reported.

Now, this could be an absolutely fantastic level of trolling by Hamill. Assuming Hamill is right, Disney will likely start teasing it soon - after all, Disney also owns ESPN, which will be airing Monday Night Football.

Nissan Continues its Relationship with Star Wars

Disney World first ran the Galactic Nights event last April, effectively replacing the Star Wars Weekends event that ran for years in the park during normal operating hours each spring.

In Lucasfilm's Star Wars: The Last Jedi, the Skywalker saga continues as the heroes of The Force Awakens join the galactic legends in an epic adventure that unlocks age-old mysteries of the Force and shocking revelations of the past. Having said that, there is evidence that points to October 9 actually being the date for the trailer. And Disney would also be doing the trailer's release on one of the most high profile and watched programs of the week. When he was asked about it again this morning, Hamill backtracked his statement. We'll just have to wait and see whether Master Luke is playing Jedi Mind Tricks on us or not. But if it is a troll, it's one that certainly makes sense for fans to get behind.
