Alvaro Morata a "good, complete player" Says Antonio Conte

Alvaro Morata is showing that Chelsea were right to trust him with succeeding Diego Costa, with the striker continuing his impressive start in the Premier League.

With a tough trip to Spain to take on Atletico Madrid coming up on Wednesday, Conte faces a decision whether to start the 26-year-old or not against Diego Simeone's men - something he will only do if the Belgium global is "ready".

At the King Power Stadium the club was forced to condemn fans who sang an anti-Semitic song in adulation of the 24-year-old aimed at fierce rivals Tottenham.

"I am pleased for his performance and the performance of the team".

"Now he is involved totally in our style of football and our idea and he is very strong", Conte said. He scored a hat-trick and for our strikers it's very important. "Now he has a great chance to show that he is a really good striker, a fantastic striker".

Morata had previously asked Chelsea's fans not to sing the song about him and they responded by dreaming up a different chant in his honour.

Pedro doubled Chelsea's lead in the 30th when he latched onto Darren Fletcher's misplaced chest pass and drove a fine finish across goalkeeper Jack Butland.

"It's not easy to win away against Stoke".

Hughes said: "When you go up against a side of the quality of Chelsea, or any side in fairness, you've got to make sure you don't have catastrophic defensive moments and we had at least three, which is always going to make it hard".

"I remember very well last season when we struggled a lot to win and we also won at the end of the game". The players are fit and now it's important to rest and recover well for the game on Wednesday and not forgetting we have another tough game on Saturday against Manchester City'.
