Medievil PS4 Remake Coming in 2018

Sony is celebrating the company's fantastic year-end sales figures with a sale on Playstation VR and the PS4 PRO, and the sales are pretty incredible. Additionally, Sony confirmed you don't need to own The Last Guardian to download the VR experience.

Detroit: Become Human got a brand new trailer at PSX 2017 and there was also gameplay shown in which the audience participated. The update will be free, available early next year, and will allow you to play every track and mode in the game (which is a lot) in VR.

To fully appreciate the scale of the PlayStation phenomenon, readers will be given an insight in its genesis, the context in which it was developed, and understand the commercial and marketing power of Sony itself. It's a terrific buy for anyone that is looking to pick-up (or gift) a PlayStation VR or PS4 system this year, and it's the lowest price we've seen for the VR system. Sony boss Shawn Layden described the remaster as a "proper, PS4-grade resurrection of the original MediEvil just in time for the game's 20th anniversary" but offered no more details.

Of course, PSX wouldn't be the same without a host of new trailers.

In terms of new PS4 games coming out in 2018, we saw the reveal of Firewall Zero Hour, a new PSVR shooter, and confirmation of a MediEvil Remaster.

Featured in the trailer are Mitsurugi and Sophitia, two of the most popular Soul Calibur characters and mainstays since the very first game in the series.
