Lady Gaga Confirms Rumors of a Las Vegas Residency

Lady Gaga is set to kick off a residency in Las Vegas at the MGM Park Theater.

Her two-year residency at the 5,300-seat theater is slated to begin in December 2018, Billboard reports.

"It has been a life-long dream of mine to play Las Vegas", said Gaga in the announcement statement, and she's played T-Mobile Arena-just steps away from Park Theater-twice this year.

Mother Monster confirmed the news across her social media platforms Tuesday.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal also reported the news on Monday, revealing that Gaga is preparing to announce a stint of 36 shows at the venue.

Gaga is joining a slew of contemporary pop stars with Vegas residencies. Meet me in Las Vegas!

In classic Gaga fashion, the singer is stunningly dressed in a Barbie-pink wrap dress and oversized sunglasses, with her platinum locks in ideal retro curls. "Meet me in Las Vegas baby, we did it!" "And I couldn't have done it without my fantastic fans, little monsters and team". Both Spears and Lopez's shows have redefined Vegas entertainment: It was once seen as embarrassing or career-ending to book a residency there. We love you so much.

Gaga was also forced to call off her six-week European leg of her "Joanne World Tour" in September, but has been in peak form since returning from her health struggles. A "pop-up" show on her "Bud Lite Dive Bar Tour" she had planned in Downtown Las Vegas days before the T-Mobile show was canceled (she stated she needed to rehearse for her world tour instead).
