Fired worker arrested in Lambeau Field disturbance

Dozens of police rushed to the stadium after initial reports that there was an active shooter at one of the most visited tourist sites in northeast Wisconsin.

Police and emergency crews have descended on Lambeau Field in Green Bay.

A former employee of a food service contractor at Lambeau Field was arrested Friday after ramming his auto into multiple vehicles and driving through the loading dock at the Green Bay Packers' stadium.

Police have referred to the situation as a "disturbance with a vehicle".

The 20-year-old man in custody is a Green Bay resident and was contractor who was sacked from a job earlier this month.

Smith says a dispute happened between a former employee and current employee of the contracted food service for the stadium.

Law enforcement sources tell Action 2 News that one person is in custody following an incident with a vehicle in the parking lot of the home of the Green Bay Packers.

The victim then fled on foot and the suspect pursued him down a ramp toward the loading dock at the southeast corner of the stadium.

The Green Bay Packers have a game at Lambeau Field on Saturday night. The Brown County Bomb Squad also arrived on the scene. The gate to the loading dock was temporarily up for deliveries, police said.
