Princess Eugenie Is Engaged to Boyfriend Jack Brooksbank

Sarah, Duchess of York - Princess Eugenie's mother and the Duke of York's former wife - voiced her delight with the news shortly after her daughter's engagement was announced.

2018 will be full of royal weddings as Princess Eugenie just announced she will be marrying Jack Brooksbank in the fall of this year.

Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank's engagement was confirmed by Buckingham Palace yesterday.

The couple are planning to Wednesday in the same church where Prince Harry and Markle will be married, St George's Chapel in Windsor.

As Prince Harry's cousin, Eugenie will be a celebrated guest at his wedding and will likely be taking notes for her own ceremony just a few months later.

Queen Elizabeth II's granddaughter will walk down the aisle to marry her long-time boyfriend, Jack Brooksbank.

The couple first met in Verbier in 2010, while Jack was on a skiing trip with friends.

Princess Eugenie said: "We met when I was 20 and Jack was 24 and we fell in love and we have the same passions and drive for life". They are standing in the Picture Gallery of the The Buckingham Palace.

Not only will the royal family be rocking up to a second wedding in 2018, they will arrive in all their style at the exact same venue: St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle, where Harry and Meghan will marry on May 19. "I actually said, 'This is an incredible moment.'" Before she knew it, Brooksbank was down on one knee.

"Jack is an absolutely outstanding young man and Eugenie and he have got to know each over a number of years, and I'm really thrilled for them", Andrew said.

Princess Eugenie announced her engagement to Jack Brooksbank on Monday, Jan. 22.

She later added, "They float with laughter and love...."

Nicola and George Brooksbank said in a statement, "We could not be more delighted with the news of the engagement".
