The Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL are discounted so many times on the e-commerce giant that their official retail prices have become more or less a formality.
A few Pixel 2 users are now facing some battery and heating issues after updating their devices to February Security patch.
Google appears to be running a new promotion that knocks 20 percent off the price of the Pixel 2 or Pixel 2 XL. The same offers apply to the 128GB Pixel 2 which has gone from Rs 70000 to Rs 58999. Citibank is offering cashback of up to Rs 10,000 on both the smartphones.
On the hardware front, they are powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor along with Adreno 540 GPU backed by a 4GB of RAM and comes in 64GB or 128GB storage variants.
As mentioned earlier, the Citibank cashback offer is applicable on Flipkart and some select offline stores, the list of which can be found here. Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL owners have been posted complaints of overheating and reduced battery life on Google's community forum and Reddit, though both threads are fairly short at the moment.
Google reportedly shipped 3.9 million Pixel and Pixel 2 smartphones in 2017, according to IDC research director Francisco Jeronimo.
