Red carpet ready for Hollywood's biggest night — Oscar Sunday

The red carpet has been rolled out, make-up artists have been booked and tuxedos have been ironed.

The 90th Academy Awards will take place Sunday, airing live on ABC from the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California. The proceedings will be televised in more than 225 countries and territories worldwide. In total, Crystal hosted nine Academy Awards between 1989 and 2012. Bradley Whitford, who portrayed Author Parsons in "The Post", also starred as Dean Amitage in "Get Out". He served 18 times between 1940 (Gone With the Wind was best picture) and 1978 (Annie Hall).

There are several firsts in this years award show.

And here's the list of those singing the nominated songs.

"I don't remember a year with so much uncertainty".

"Mudbound" and "The Big Sick" were conspicuously absent from the best picture category, though they received other nominations. He has won twice, for "Glory" and "Training Day".

For Oscarphiles (is that a word?) wanting to get an early jump on the proceedings, E! My prediction is yes, we'll all continue to watch live coverage of the Academy Awards into the wee hours of the night, because why not - it's the biggest night of the year!

That'll be followed at 7 p.m.by Red Carpet Rundown, which will deal with "the hottest fashions".

The TV Column appears Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday.
