Jim Carrey Painted An Unflattering Picture Of Donald Trump's Press Secretary

The text accompanying the portrait refers to Sanders as a "so-called Christian whose only goal in life is to lie for the wicked". "Monstrous!" Carrey tweeted on Saturday night.

The painting is being called sexist for his portrayal of a woman in a power position and he's also being called out for criticizing her religious beliefs.

Comedian Jim Carrey turned to art (loosely defined) to mock President Donald Trump's press secretary, Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

Carrey shared a painting of Sanders over the weekend, which riled up both critics and fans of the actor.

Never one to resist an opportunity to capitalize on a bit of notoriety, Carrey followed up his inflammatory Sanders portrait today with a more high-concept piece.

Jim Carrey paintings usually create a buzz online because they are filled with striking detail, but his recent painting of Sarah Huckabee Sanders is quickly going viral.

Commenters savaged Carrey for the depiction and for attacking Christianity. "Pathetic BULLY, sexist, hater, bigot & "Christaphobe" @jimcarrey attacks @PressSec for her faith; what would be hypocritical Hollywood reaction if he called someone a "so-called Muslim" or 'so-called Jew?' #classlessCarrey", Huckabee wrote.

This isn't the first time Jim Carrey paintings caused a stir in the political arena.

He painted a picture of Trump kissing the backside of Russian President Vladimir Putin previous year, and hes also taken aim at Republican party senator candidate Roy Moore (who was accused of sexual misconduct) as well as others within Trump's inner circle. Marco Rubio and President Trump.

He described Hawking as "greatest mental athlete of our time".
