Katy Perry's Reaction to "American Idol" Contestant Loving Taylor Swift Is Priceless

American Idol 2018 heads back to Los Angeles, Nashville, New Orleans, and NY tonight on ABC as the three judges continue their search for the next victor of American Idol armed with their stack of Golden Tickets. In one of the performances on Sunday night, a contestant apologized to Perry, referencing her public feud with Swift.

However when he said: "I love Taylor Swift!".

During the third round of auditions on American Idol, judges Lionel Richie, Katy Perry, and Luke Bryan will meet the gorgeous and talented Audriana Bolton.

Contestant Amelia Hammer Harris has the music industry in her bones. The American Idol hopeful is the daughter of songwriter Jack Hammer, who's credited as a co-writer for "Great Balls of Fire". For a nanosecond, Perry looked shocked then quickly responded, "Oh, you don't have to be sorry".

However, on the Idol stage, Perry is cool with hearing from Swift fans.

The Grammy Award winning singer certainly stood out with her fashion accessory - as she has been accused of "throwing shade" at her sworn enemy Taylor Swift.

Here's How Katy Perry Responded to a Taylor Swift Superfan on American Idol

"I just want to know who you are".

"She did something so awful", Swift told Rolling Stone. Karma. There's the law of cause and effect: you do something, there's going to be a reaction.

The last time Perry spoke about the drama was on Australia's Today Show saying, "I love her, I always have".

When Perry's album Witness dropped in June 2017 Swift re-added all of her discographies to streaming services which fans think was a calculated move to hurt Perry's streaming numbers.

So what's the tea Perry? This played as catalyst in bringing a radical change in how people perceived assault and harassment, and brought forth the #MeToo movement which went viral on social media which gained attention and spread like wildfire sending shockwaves throughout the world.
