FA charge Leicester loanee Slimani with violent conduct

Slimani's antics were missed by officials during West Brom's 1-0 victory at St James' Park, but Football Association chiefs have taken action after reviewing video of the incident.

Referee David Coote failed to punish the forward for the offence but it was caught on camera.

The incident went unnoticed by the match officials, but was caught on camera, and the FA has subsequently taken retrospective action against the Algeria worldwide. After being brought to Leicester for a club record fee in 2016, the 29 year old never really managed to establish himself in the Leicester side.

While there's nothing to worry about just yet, Rafael Benitez has received a phone call from another club to see if he'd be interested in leaving Newcastle United at the end of the season. Speaking on Match of the Day, as reported by the Leicester Mercury, Shearer said: "He will get a three-match ban, I have no doubt about it".

"At the moment, I'm really upset with the result, and we will analyse the other things later". "I couldn't see anything, so we will see".
