Clay is out for justice in 13 Reasons Why season 2 trailer

While Hannah Baker's (Katherine Langford) story ended in season one, her tragedy continues to have a keen impact on all the characters as her parents take Liberty High School to court.

The trailer for "13 Reasons Why" season 2 has arrived.

13 Reasons Why season 2 swaps cassette tapes for mysterious polaroids, and promises that "Hannah wasn't the only one".

"Hopefully, at the end of the season, the viewer will say, 'Hannah was much more complicated than we knew season 1.' There are things that contradict her narrative of her life and the reasons she chose to die by suicide", showrunner Brian Yorkey told Entertainment Weekly in an interview published on Saturday, May 5.

Fans will get to see different perspectives in season two, instead of just Clay and Hannah's.

Not to mention that Langford proved herself brilliant in the first season of the show, so any excuse to keep this talented actress around is perfectly acceptable by us. When Netflix announced that a second season was in the works, many believed it wasn't necessary. To me, there's a tremendous amount that I still want to know. The new episodes center on the trial around Hannah Baker's death and the town's push towards justice. "But I think what we're going to discover is, as they begin to emerge from this very dark time, there's hope and there is some light to be found".

If this new trailer, the teaser and first photos of the new season are any indication, the Polaroids are going to have something to do with the trial Hannah's family is about to head into after her death at the end of Season 1, and the stories that didn't get tied up by the end of the first year.

Well. not quite. But welcome to your first look at "13 Reasons Why" Season 2. A series of ominous polaroids lead Clay and his classmates to uncover a sickening secret and a conspiracy to cover it up.
