Facing Finals sweep, LeBron praises "stacked" Warriors

His eighth straight appearance didn't go well either, and now there's uncertainty where the superstar will play next.

LeBron James has said he "pretty much played the last three games with a broken hand" after sustaining a self inflicted injury after losing game one of the finals against the Golden State Warriors.

And as for the Irving trade, the point guard wanted out of Cleveland because he was exhausted of being in LeBron's shadow, when James didn't step up and demanding to the Cavs organization that Irving not be traded, it said a lot about their relationship.

"When it comes to me looking at myself in the mirror after every game, after every season and know I played my best - or I should say, I gave my best effort and had the right intentions and really appreciated every day that I got to play - and I can go in the locker room right now and look at every one of my teammates in the face and have that sense of pride of what I was able to do out there on the floor and how I can help my team win a championship, that's all that matters to me", Curry said. He also stepped back and allowed his players to coach during a February win over the lowly Phoenix Suns, sparking hot-take fires around the league from critics saying that the move was disrespectful, that the Warriors should be ashamed.

Months of weight will lifted off him once the Warriors, who haven't lost four straight games since 2013, are crowned again.

The Warriors blocked 13 shots in the game, with Curry and Durant joining Green with three apiece. Do his children decide they just want to stay in Northeast Ohio? Curry has six points and Golden State leads Cleveland 10-3. Durant, off his career personal best of 43 points, added 20 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists as he locked down the MVP award.

Kerr just finished the fourth year of a five-year, $25 million deal with his third National Basketball Association championship in four years.

But Steph seemed to be on a mission to finally claim it as he was the Warriors' best player in the opening two games and also broke the record for the most three-pointers in a Finals game with nine.

Rumors have been rife all season that James will opt out of his contract with the Cavs and become an unrestricted agent this summer. "The one thing I've always done is considered my family". After dropping a monstrous 51 points in Game 1 of the Finals, James' approach did appear different in Games 2, 3, and 4.

Right now, Golden State is on another tier and with Durant expected to re-sign with them in weeks and Curry, Thompson, Green and the rest still young and hungry, their reign could last much longer.

Durant said at the time the leadup to his decision was the most challenging few weeks of his career but after the success he has enjoyed over the last two seasons he is not about to second guess his move. The one thing that we do know for sure is that James deserves nothing but respect this time around. They overcame an 11-point deficit in Game 1 of this year's NBA Finals and rallied from 13 points down to beat the Cavs in Game 3 on Wednesday. Became the ninth team to sweep the finals.

"I have no idea at this point", James said. But since then, he has seen the Cavaliers trade All-Star guard Kyrie Irving to the Celtics, the departure of general manager David Griffin and back-to-back Finals losses to the Warriors. For the entire postseason, James shot 34% on over five attempts per game.

The one variable that could potentially change all of this, though, is James's family.

Still, Cavs coach Tyronn Lue was quick to point out that his team has already defied huge odds.

"I had some tough problems going on throughout the course of the season, and I probably could have folded myself, but I wasn't going to do that", he said. Can't get enough of this feeling.
