Paul George drops MAJOR LeBron James hint: OKC star talks free agency

The rumours are running fast and furious around the NBA's most prized upcoming free agent, and the Akron Beacon Journal's Marla Ridenour doesn't believe James will end up in Houston to challenge the mantle of the Golden State Warriors. Since James is the best free agent available this offseason, the Lakers will obviously not be the only other team pursuing him. Pictured: James #23 of the Cleveland Cavaliers hugs Simmons #25 of the Philadelphia 76ers after the game at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on April 6, 2018. However, Marla Ridenour of the Akron Beacon Journal spoke on ESPN LA about how James feels about the city of Houston.

It's likely that the National Basketball Association star's options are to stay with Cleveland or go to the Philadelphia 76ers or Los Angeles Lakers - the three teams with "realistic salary cap space" to sign James in free agency. We have a losing record, but I like playing with him. "So, that would require him moving to a place that he's not insane about". Seeing the two of them together would be a scary thought for opposing teams.

After overruling his family's desire to remain in Miami when he returned to Cleveland, James has said his family will have more of a voice this time in his upcoming free agency. While getting the cap space needed to sign James is tricky, it is possible. FS1's Chris Broussard, for instance, outlined a scenario in which the Lakers land James, Chris Paul and Paul George, perhaps launching them into NBA Finals contention. One thing is for sure, there will be a lot of factors going into his big decision.
