Jimmy Fallon responds to Trump: 'Why are you tweeting at me?'

Once O'Brien joins the chat on the freaky Trump situation, he implores Fallon and Colbert to "please be civil", a clear dig at Republicans demanding civility after Sarah Huckabee Sanders was booted from a Virginia restaurant for working for Trump. In the sketch, Colbert calls Fallon on a video chat.

The bit begins with Colbert at his computer writing his monologue when he receives a video call from Fallon, who asks Colbert if he saw Trump's rally speech.

Who says President Donald Trump only divides? Trump said Fallon was always waiting for him when he appeared on his show prior to winning the White House and treated him with respect. "Well that's not right, that's Conan", responds Colbert. O'Brien was not mentioned by the president during the rally at Airport High School.

"Mostly whimpering", Fallon said, eyes downcast as he referenced the president's recent tweet lambasting him for his apology.

It followed Trump disparaging them at a SC rally on Monday. Colbert responds by calling him "lost soul". "Because now he's gonna lose all of us", Trump said. Conan says. "And, remember, please be civil", Conan says.

"The guy on CBS, what a lowlife", Trump said. "He's the president! What are you doing? If we're not careful, this could start to get ugly", O'Brien said, clearly missing another element of the cultural moment.

"What do you want to eat?" He then went on to refer to Stephen Colbert as "the guy on CBS" with "no talent".

"Red Hen", Colbert confirmed with a decisive nod, ending the call. The two comedians also sarcastically claimed they didn't watch Trump's SC rally, but heard he said some pretty mean stuff about them. Instead, he commented on Trump saying people should "toot their own horns".
