Everton line up Adama Soumaoro as alternative to Yerry Mina

Jose Mourinho is in the market to sign at least one more player before the transfer window shuts on Thursday evening after being left disappointed by United's lack of transfer activity this summer with Brazilian midfielder Fred the only significant new addition to their squad.

But with Leicester demanding £75 million for Harry Maguire and a £35m deal for Mina collapsing over the weekend due to a disagreement over agent's fees, United have been forced to look elsewhere.

The Toffees have clinched the signings of Richarlison from Watford and Lucas Digne from Barcelona - while Yerry Mina is expected to become the third new addition.

Capped 59 times by Argentina, the 28-year-old could end up forging a stellar partnership alongside Yerry Mina.

"Goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen was also present, following his arrival on Sunday from the club's tour of the United States".

"As you can see, I'm still at Lyon".

"Maybe with the national team they want him to score goals, and that does also interest us, but, above all, we need him to defend".

Lyon hope that they will be able to play on the good relationship that they have with Barcelona, having sold Samuel Umtiti there last summer, to then be able to buy the player from the Catalan club for €25m. In fact, Marcos Rojo might hold the key to Mina's future.

After his €11.8m move to Barcelona from Palmeiras in January, Mina had to sit on Barcelona's bench due to the presence of Pique and Umiti in the starting XI.

Thus, Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde can count from Tuesday on all his players in the training camp. At this point, the Premier League seems to be the Colombian's destination.
