STORM ALERT | Severe weather risk now lower for St. Louis Tuesday

Don't plan on rain from the start to the finish.

These storms are also putting down a lot of rain and may cause additional flooding issues. Sunshine is expected to return to the forecast by the weekend.

Staying dry might be a challenge in MA on Tuesday.

Daytime temperatures rise to a high of 20°C and the UV index is 6, or high. The models are not consistent yet on the strength of the cold front, so stay tuned as the Channel 3 Storm Alert Team keeps you updated on the rain chances and if lower temperatures will still come our way.

Overnight we will see some showers and the wind is south at 30 km/h, gusting to 50 and temperatures fall to a low off 16°C.

A damp start then turning warmer and humid with some sun; showers and thunderstorms late. Skies will remain mostly clear with light winds out of the southeast around 5 to 10 miles per hour. Chance for rain/thunder overnight. "Main concern would be strong to locally damaging wind gusts". That's when our weather will be most active.

Showers are likely Wednesday night, along with a chance of thunderstorms. More widespread showers are possible with high temperatures in the upper 70s to low 80s.

Mixed but dry skies are in the forecast for Thursday with a high of 19 C and low of 9 C.
