Kavanaugh Accuser Releases Four Declarations Claiming to Corroborate Allegation

Dismissing Ramirez's account because she was "totally inebriated and all messed up", Trump also accused Democrats of playing a "con game" in an attempt to derail his Supreme Court choice.

Republicans said they were determined to push the nomination through the narrowly-divided Senate as soon as a possible, rejecting Democratic calls to freeze the process to let the FBI investigate all of the allegations.

The lawyer representing Christine Blasey Ford has sent a letter to Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley expressing concern over the Republican's hiring of an "experienced sex crimes prosecutor" for Thursday's hearing.

Kavanaugh denies having a "sexual or physical encounter of any kind" with Christine Blasey Ford, who will also appear at Thursday's Senate Judiciary Committee hearing. "I have faith in God and I have faith in the fairness of the American people", Kavanaugh said. Last Saturday night, her lawyer said in a statement that she "does not know Mr. Kavanaugh and she has no recollection of ever being at a party or gathering where was present with, or without Dr. Ford".

Ford says Kavanaugh pinned her on a bed and tried to take off her bikini while covering her mouth at a high school party.

The calendar reflects the daily activities of a typical 17-year-old boy: plans to mow the grass, go to the movies, play sports, go to "beach week" and attend summer camp.

"I was not at the party described", Kavanaugh said.

Kavanaugh told MacCallum, "I never did any such thing".

During an television appearance Wednesday morning, Beth Wilkinson, a lawyer for Kavanaugh, declined to comment when asked what might motivate Ford to talk about Kavanaugh years before he was nominated. "Friday would be possible, but I'm gonna let him make those announcements".

The accusation, along with one from a second accuser, have imperiled Kavanaugh's lifetime appointment to the nation's highest court as Republicans work to shore up his Senate confirmation ahead of the Nov 6 congressional vote. The judge has categorically denied that allegation as well.

The allegations against Kavanaugh have endangered his chances of confirmation in the Senate, which Trump's fellow Republicans control by a narrow 51-49 margin. John Neely Kennedy, R-La., said Republicans had been rebuffed after trying to contact her lawyer, and a committee spokesman said it has not received a statement or additional evidence from her legal team after requesting them.

It's the third accusation against Kavanaugh, after the New Yorker, in a much-maligned piece lacking corroborating witnesses, reported Deborah Ramirez claimed Kavanaugh exposed himself to her at a party when both were freshmen at Yale University. "I am with him all the way", Trump said, calling the allegations politically motivated. He also chastised his colleagues for politicizing the issue before hearing Ford and Kavanaugh testify.

Another Democrat, Sen Jeff Merkley of OR, complained that Republicans were conducting a "jammed through, unfair process" on a lifetime Supreme Court appointment.

Kavanaugh said in an interview earlier this week with Fox News that he went to an all-boys Catholic high school where he focused on academics, and athletics. Russell Ford said his wife shared her story during a couples therapy session in 2012. Kavanaugh denies the accusation.

Kavanaugh's nomination to the court has been rocked after multiple women have accused him of sexual assault.

'While the nationwide outpouring of love has been heartwarming, I am spending considerable time managing death threats, avoiding people following me on freeways, and disconcerting media intrusion, including swarms of vans at my home and unauthorized persons entering my classroom and medical settings where I work, ' she wrote. There's no telling how Kavanaugh and his accuser, Christine Blasey Ford, will perform at the hearing.
