Note the spin machine-crafted line used by Kavanaugh, Trump and any other Republican you can shake a lie detector result at; "She has been victimized by Democrats. on a search-and-destroy mission for Brett Kavanaugh".
He also called the Democrats' tactics "the most unethical sham".
"Boy, you all want power". Because I got here the same way anyone else did, " said Graham before going on a long tirade.
"I hope you're on the Supreme Court", he added, "That's exactly where you belong".
IT WAS a case of "she said, he yelled", as Saturday Night Live put it. It contains mildly objectionable language. Mr. Graham said that if Mr. Kavanaugh's accusers are serious, they can file a complaint against him in Maryland, where there are no statute of limitations regarding sexual assault. "And if you really wanted to know the truth, you sure as hell wouldn't have done what you've done to this guy".
According to Boot, Graham "matched Kavanaugh outburst-for-outburst" and showed that he is now "bereft of the adult supervision once provided by former Senate colleague John McCain".
"But let me tell my Democratic friends: If this is the new norm, you better watch out for your nominees".
Graham was responding to Stephanopoulos' playing a video clip showing Democratic Sen.
If one more week guarantees at least 51 votes in the Senate, then perhaps this Federal Bureau of Investigation probe is necessary.
"I've never sexually assaulted anyone, not in high school, not in college, not ever", Kavanaugh told the panel.
"The constant drumbeat by Republicans that sexual battery allegations against Brett Kavanaugh were mishandled is clearly an effort to discredit the women who have come forward over the past couple weeks", Ms. Feinstein said.
House Democrats warn that if Kavanaugh is confirmed, they could investigate him themselves if they manage to take control of the House of Representatives in November.
Concluding his grandstanding, Graham told Kavanaugh's daughters that he was proud of their father and he believes he is "a good man".
