Ariana Grande And Pete Davidson Reportedly Call Off Engagement

14, 2018, TMZ reported that the high-profile couple have mutually made a decision to split up and call off their engagement after five months of dating.

People magazine subsequently reported that a Grande source told them the couple chose to split as it was "way too much too soon".

"It was way too much too soon", People reports, citing a source for the pop star who said, "It's not shocking to anyone".

"And while I was frustrated, being the manager, my wife, being who she always is, just looked at me and she goes, 'She needs this time.'" Grande has been open about her ongoing struggles with anxiety since the terrorist attack at her show in Manchester previous year. According to TMZ, the pair was last spotted together last week.

Ariana Grande and fiancé Pete Davidson have reportedly split. "They just genuinely decided that it's best right now for them to be apart", a source close to Ariana told HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY. After her ex-boyfriend rapper MC Miller allegedly died from an overdose, she told her followers she needed some time to heal and pulled out from the Emmy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles.

With many taking to social media to share their commentary on the situation, we haven't heard anything from Ariana or Pete on the split as of yet.

Amidst the reactions and speculation on the relationship, a recent SNL clip of Davidson has been making the rounds.

"The day I met her, I was like, 'Hey, I'll marry you tomorrow, '" Davidson, 24, told GQ magazine in August.

Grande also canceled her appearance on last month's "SNL" season premiere, citing "emotional reasons", according to Lorne Michaels. Grande is going through a hard time, particularly after the death of her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller last month, and has canceled appearances at recent events.

The two were known to be very affectionate towards each other on social media, but as of Sunday it appeared Davidson's accounts were no longer active.
