Marcus Rashford fires Manchester United to injury-time victory over Bournemouth

Arsenal legend Emmanuel Petit has launched a damning attack on the current crop of Manchester United players.

Callum Wilson gave Bournemouth an early lead on England's south coast and the home side could have been further ahead before Anthony Martial levelled for United in the 35th minute. "I believe in myself and I keep working". When you play in a big club like this there is always talk.

Asked about being stripped of the United vice-captaincy by Mourinho, Pogba said: "It didn't affect me".

"It goes back to a famous game when we felt like he left off the back against Blackburn. The Premier League has become more interesting with him". In the second half, we were fantastic and we want to be a whole-game team. It's been good for me, good for the team.

United trail leaders Manchester City by nine points but have edged up into seventh position after taking 10 points from a possible 12.

"We have a lot of goals so, for me, no it's not odd". If they lose at the Allianz Stadium on Wednesday night the Italian club will be confirmed as group winners.

Paul Pogba insists he is happy at Manchester United as he and Jose Mourinho defend what they say is a "typical" player-manager relationship.

He added: "Tomorrow is a big match and it's big enough to not think about 'what next?'".

Reports in Italy have suggested the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo has swayed the Frenchmen into the "project" being built by the Serie A giants.

"We must do better defensively in our own half".

Mourinho's men will be desperate to at least pick up a point as they bid to finish second ahead of Valencia and Young Boys. "We must try to secure our place in the next round on Wednesday and then end this run of matches with a good result at AC Milan before the break", he asserted.

"We have the chance to secure (Champions League) qualification and then we go to AC Milan before the worldwide break".
