Video of incident between Chiefs' Hunt, woman surfaces

TMZ has posted video of Kansas City Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt shoving and kicking a 19-year-old woman at a Cleveland hotel earlier this year.

The Chiefs and NFL knew about the February incident, but it's unclear if the team and league knew about or had seen the video. The only thing that both stories corroborated was that the woman was not allowed in Hunt's room and that was when the fight broke out.

The group also claimed the woman struck one of Hunt's female friends, leading to the altercation.

Towards the end of the video Hunt could be seen shoving someone into one of the women, who fell and hit her head. He shoves another male into the woman, who then falls down and appears to grab her head. According to reports, Hunt and his friends were out drinking with Ottinger and her friends.

The woman, reportedly a student at Kent State, told authorities at the time that the argument began when she refused to hook up with one of Hunt's friends, the New York Post reported. The incident occurred at 3:22 in the morning, on February 18, 2018.

Hunt denied the allegations, and TMZ Sports reported in July that cops were unable to determine if anyone was assaulted and closed the case.

The Kansas City Chiefs are, at least for the moment, distancing themselves from Kareem Hunt.

The NFL has yet to comment on the incident.

In the days and weeks following the incident, no charges would be filed and no punishments would be handed down by the Chiefs or the NFL.

"I've learned from it and I'm focused on football", Kareem told reporters.
