'Stranger Things' Season 3 Will Premiere on July 4

The tagline reads, "One summer can change everything", which sounds like a totally cliche '80s movie line-something that is very appropriate for the series.

The dated footage of Dick Clark's Rockin" Eve features an advert for The Starcourt Mall, which is ominously interrupted by a message that says: "When blue and yellow meet in...' and eventually the broadcast cuts out.

Netflix has been teasing the new season for months.

A new teaser video for the show's third season was released just before midnight EST.

On Monday, Netflix kicked off New Year's celebrations with a new Stranger Things Season 3 trailer and poster.

Trust Netflix to wait until New Year's Eve to announce the release date for one of 2019's most hyped TV show arrivals: Stranger Things Season 3.

In the poster, the show's stars are watching 4th of July fireworks explode in 1985, leading us to believe that the series won't just be released over Independence Day, but also be set around it.

They also released a new poster, which shows Eleven and Will staring in abject terror at something out of frame that is attached to a terrible pair of legs or tentacles or claws or... something, in addition to a disconcerting number of rats.

According to the The Hollywood Reporter, Levy shared that Eleven, played by Millie Bobby Brown; Mike, played by Finn Wolfhard; Lucas, played by Caleb McLaughlin; and Max, played by Sadie Sink, would be all be enjoying coupledom.
