Everything We Know About 'Fiji Water Girl', The Golden Globes' Viral Star

"FIJI Water Girl is a Los Angeles-based model and first-time FIJI Water Brand Ambassador", FIJI Water's statement read.

Cuthbert said she didn't know she had gone viral until the end of the red carpet portion of the evening when people started showing her their phones and the trending photos.

"Well, you have to understand the layout of the red carpet". The brand took to Twitter to join in on the meme fun, but not before addressing everyone's excitement over her presence.

So who is Fiji water girl? She even appeared on "The Late Late Show" Monday night where she photobombed James Corden's guest introductions. "You just have to look pleasant toward the camera".

But after hours of speculation, Canadian-born model Kelleth Cuthbert revealed herself as the model in question with a post on Instagram.

"It's all strategic", the model, who saw her instagram follower count grow by more than 60,000 to cross 120,000 total followers, told the Times.

The Fiji Water girl is a phenomenon we can only hope will continue for the rest of the 2019 award season. On the many photos she was part of, she said, "Sometimes you're caught between a lot of cameras, so there's a lot of photographers at different angles".

The winners of the night included Olivia Coleman for her role in The Favourite, Rami Malek for his lead role in Bohemian Rhampsody and Regina King for If Beale Street Could Talk.

Other users Photoshopped her into classic film scenes.

With a tray of bottles and a subtly-raised eyebrow, "Fiji Water Girl" was nearly ever-present as the stars arrived, staring straight down the camera and winning over hundreds of social media users.

As the Golden Globes red carpet coverage unfolded yesterday afternoon, one particular face kept popping up in what seemed like every shot.

She's married to photographer Christopher Von Steinback.

Cuthbert has yet to comment on her newfound fame, but we can only imagine that several professional opportunities are coming her way.
