Tablet mode brings a similar multitasking functionality that exists in the Galaxy Fold. When folded, you can use the 6.6-inch front display and on the back you will have 6.38-inch display.
Both Samsung and Huawei said their devices can withstand the wear-and-tear of over 100,000 folds.
The Galaxy Fold uses a traditional 4.6in (11.7cm) smartphone screen, with a second, larger display housed inside its body, which opens up to form a 7.3in (18.5cm) AMOLED Infinity Flex display.
Samsung celebrated 10 years of its Galaxy S smartphone line on February 20 by announcing its latest four-model Galaxy S10 lineup, which includes three 4G phones and a coming 5G model that will be released as 5G deployments continue to spread.
The phone includes the company's 7nm Balong 5000 5G modem.
A cover is also offered for the device in order to protect it from damage.
The phone is Huawei's first foldable phone and it has some other new neat developments.
Huawei featured 5G heavily in the presentation, with a variety of Internet of Things and connected home devices displayed - along with a 5G mobile hotspot.
Huawei presented several other products at the same event, including a new range of laptops: such as the MateBook X Pro, which has a 13.9, 3K screen, as well as MateBooks with 13 and 14 inch screens. "I's better for productivity over 16:9, better for performing, better for reading documentation", said Yu. The US has told European countries that it may find it hard to work with anyone who uses Huawei products in their networks after raising security concerns about the company. The site notes that since that model number ends with a 5 instead of a 0, like most Note devices, that could mean this number refers to the 5G variant of the forthcoming Note.
Earlier today, news outlet Asia Crypto Today reported that they had heard from anonymous sources that "the Enjin Wallet has been chosen as the partners for the new flagship phone", and they referred to this as "the biggest partnership in crypto history". The 5G version of the Mi MIX 3 will hit shelves around the world starting May 2019.
Samsung's mmWave radio frequency integrated circuits (RFICs) and digital/analog front end (DAFE) ASICs supports 28GHz and 39GHz bands, which can reduce 5G base station size, weight, and power consumption by 25 percent.
Huawei calls the new hinge system a "Falcon hinge".
