Shang Tsung Revealed as the First DLC Fighter in Mortal Kombat 11

We didn't get to see one of his Fatalities in action, unfortunately.

Mortal Kombat 11 is literally just weeks away and to keep the hype building this week's KombatKast announced the return of Mortal Kombat X veterans Kotal Kahn and Jacqui Briggs, and we now know when the closed beta will begin. The latter of which takes centre stage in both the Fatal Blow and Fatality we see during the trailer. In the said presentation it was revealed that Kotal Kahn will officially be making his way into the game as a playable character.

NeverRealm Studios' Mortal Kombat 11 will enter closed beta from March 28-31 and is available by invitation, as well as to those who pre-ordered the game on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One.

During the Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo, the second of the two Mortal Kombat 11 fighters were revealed.

Characters won't necessarily be the same every time you fight them: they each have different variations that impact their abilities, and players have a variety of customization options as their disposal beyond that. This is exciting news for Mortal Kombat fans since he has played the shape-shifting villain before in the Mortal Kombat franchise.

ELEAGUE Mortal Kombat 11 Showdown will run for four hours between 2-6 PM ET, during which time the players will face off against random online opponents. Even compared to more outrageously violent trailers in MK 11, Noob Saibot has always been one of the most brutal fighters in the series.
