Personal dispute led to Nipsey Hussle killing

The cops sent a message to the woman witnesses said drove the getaway vehicle, warning she could face charges of aiding and abetting, or worse, conspiracy to commit murder. The deputies arrived on the scene and arrested the person without incident.

Meghan Aguilar, a spokesperson for Los Angeles Police Department, said there was "mass panic and chaos" beginning after 8 p.m. outside of Hussle's clothing store, according to CBS Los Angeles.

Moore, speaking at a news conference that was being broadcast live, said he was confident that Holder was watching. The sources told The Times that detectives believe the gunman is a gang member but that the motive for the shooting is more personal in nature.

Holder has yet to be charged in the shooting.

The chief did not reveal how the two men were acquainted or offer any details about their dispute.

Hussle had earned a Grammy nomination for best rap album this year for "Victory Lap", his major-label debut.

A suspect in the murder of rapper Nipsey Hussle has been arrested by the L.A. County Sheriff.

Moore said the stampede began when one person displayed a gun, and a second person struggled to disarm the person.

At least one of the critically injured persons was struck by a auto, and the other one had a "penetrating injury", although it was unclear whether that person was stabbed or cut by broken glass on the ground, a fire department spokeswoman said.
