Here's the deal with Kim and Kanye's sinks

The reality star finally took to Instagram yesterday to explain, pointing it out as a bit of Kanye West genius.

So many questions poured in that Kardashian took the time to show her fans exactly how the sink works, posting a surprisingly satisfying Instagram Stories video that should put any confusion to rest.

The mum-of-three went on to add that she spends her weekends away from her kids while she's studying.

"Claudio was the one that said it should be separated from the wall", Kim says, explaining that her sinks used to be flush against a wall in her bathroom instead of on an island in the middle of the space.

First, she gave her 134 million plus followers a tour of the bathroom, and said that her husband Kanye was one of the minds behind the sinks. And the surface of the sink dips enough for water to enter the drain without overflowing on the floor and throwing off the delicate balance of their dystopian-future bathroom.

"So eight versions of this prototype sink was made and it does actually slightly slope down that you can kind of see". The mystery is solved. Not only does it work, but you can also increase the water pressure and there's no backsplash and the water just makes it's way down the small drain. "There's no box around it which I think is really cool and more visually appealing", she said.

In her bedroom - in front of the automatic drapes that open and close by remote - is an empty space where a TV would normally be.

Referring to Kim petitioning Donald Trump to commute the life sentence of non-violent drug offender Alice Marie Johnson, which led to the First Step Act being passed, he continued: "Look what she did with the President of the United States, she got somebody right out of jail".

There's no need to explain why that's awesome.
